Punk Goes Pop 5 is a compilation album in the Punk Goes ... series and the third installment in the Punk Goes Pop series. It was released on November 6, 2012 through to the album that debuted at number six on the Billboard 200, selling. more than 21,000 copies within the first week of the album chart. The highest in the series to date. Album's second single "Some people I've ever known" which was covered by Mayday Parade and featured guest vocals by Vic Fuentes from Pierce the Veil. Sold more than 15,000 copies within the first week of the album's release, debuting at number eight. and nine on the Billboard rock charts.
Since 2002, Fearless Records has released the album to the punk and pop together as one. Name these records punk Goes Pop, contains a variety of punk and alternative bands covering popular radio hits.
